Scholarships
TWC’s Entrance Scholarships for International Students are worth HK$30,000 each for the AY2026/27 intake. TWC currently states that 20 scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships are nomination-based; eligibility, selection and renewal are decided by TWC under its official rules. Details may change for future intakes — check the latest official TWC scholarship information before you apply.[2]
- Eligibility: international students (excluding mainland China, Macao and Taiwan) who meet the entrance requirements for a Bachelor’s degree programme and have settled the deposit.
- Nomination by the Programme Leader of the respective School; selection considers academic achievement and, where applicable, low-income proof.
- Renewal: maintain a cGPA of 3.0 or above each academic year.
- The 20-award figure is the current AY2026/27 official figure; it is not a promise for AY2027/28.
Guardrail
Scholarships, admission, visa outcomes and accommodation arrangements are not guaranteed. TWC decides scholarships and admissions according to its official rules.
Payment timing and caveats
- TWC will adjust the tuition fee of its programmes annually.
- Tuition is normally charged by two instalments per annum, payable before the commencement of each semester.
- New students are required to settle the balance of the tuition fee for the first semester (i.e. after deducting deposit) upon programme registration in August.
- All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Retake or additional courses are charged per credit at the standard rate.
- The definition of non-local students follows Education Bureau guidelines.[3]
Application fee
The non-local application fee is HK$200, non-refundable and non-transferable, paid online via designated payment methods.[4] This is the AY2026/27 application fee only and is subject to change for AY2027/28. See how to apply.
Accommodation cost benchmark (official TWC dormitory)
For accommodation budgeting, TWC officially lists the TST Dorm (Youth Dorm) at 182 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui — operated by Youth Dorm HK — as a dormitory option for non-local students. All-inclusive monthly rents in the 2026-27 guide range from HK$5,830 to HK$12,500 per person depending on room type, charged ×12 months plus a one-month deposit. Full room-type details are on the parent guide; the hub overview summarises the dormitory option. Other living costs (food, transport, personal expenses) are not included here; budget them separately based on your family’s circumstances.[5]
