GCE A-Level/AS, Cambridge Pre-U, IB Diploma and national qualifications from Australia, Canada, India, Korea, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, UK, USA and more — plus the full English language requirements table.

Published Class 12 route: an average of 75% in five subjects in ISC, HSC or AISSC, plus a board-English route at 75% — with the English language routes.

Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level and polytechnic diploma routes, as published by TWC, with the English language routes.

Meeting a published minimum requirement does not guarantee admission — TWC makes the final eligibility decision. Entry requirements apply to bachelor’s degree programmes; postgraduate routes are described on the School of Nursing and School of Management pages.

Hong Kong academic calendar — when does the academic year start?

  • August — programme registration
  • Semester 1 — September to December
  • Semester 2 — January to May
  • Semester 3 — June to July (certain majors only)

Academic-year timing varies by country, and major examinations fall at different points of the year. In Hong Kong, Semester 1 starts in September. Check how your examination dates line up with the September intake, and make sure your results and English evidence will be ready in time. Each country page includes a note on the academic-year difference; a Youth Dorm representative can help you map your exam calendar to the TWC timeline.
