Hong Kong academic calendar — when does the academic year start?

The academic year works differently in Pakistan and Hong Kong. Pakistan’s academic year typically runs June to May. In Hong Kong, Semester 1 starts in September. Plan ahead: check how your HSSC / Intermediate examination and result dates line up with the September intake, and make sure your results and English evidence will be ready in time.
